Best of Cannes 2016 Jewellery

It's impossible to imagine Cannes Film Festival without a heaping handful of high-octane jewels. Though every year brings more glamour and glitz, Cannes 2016 was exceptionally brilliant. Chopard, the longtime official jeweler of the festival has created 69 one-of-a-kind pieces for the 69th edition of the festival. The Swiss jewelry maker has definitely stolen the hearts but jewels from other brands such as Piaget, Bulgari, de Grisogono and more, dazzled us.

From dripping diamonds to elegant emeralds, blushing tourmaline, rubellites and amethysts, there was an array of finest gemstones carefully perched in precious platinum and gold to create the treasured red-carpet  accessories for Cannes. The Brazilian supermodel made sure that the closing night was as stunning as the opening ceremony. Her choice of sparkling strapless Zuhair Murad dress with 80-carats Bulgari Serpenti diamond necklace and two matching diamond rings was a fittingly glamorous choice for the film festival.

The model also opted for a stunning diamond necklace and bracelet combo from Bulgari Serpenti collection at L'Oreal Paris Blue Obsession party.

The British model was drop-dead gorgeous and deserves a special mention for her selection of Chanel diamond earrings paired with Chanel bracelet for amfAR gala.

The French model featured shoulder-skimming earrings highlighting rubellite tourmalines, Amethysts and Paraiba tourmalines from Chopard at the premiere of Julieta.

Bella Hadid

Apart from her daring high slit, halter neck red gown, the reality TV star turned model was in spotlight for her selection of luxury jewellery. Both the diamond choker from Chopard at opening ceremony and a set of de GRISOGONO necklace and earrings set with emeralds, rubies, amethysts and diamonds for the next day were truly compelling.
